First of all, I am interested in working with you to create new comfortable, beautiful and sustainable footwear.

I have been making woolen shoes for more than 20 years.

Through these years I have established 2 production facilities, designed my own products and sold them.

First I established Glerups together with my parents. Next I founded Betterfelt, and last I co-founded Wool2fit.

It was in fact my mother who got me into the business. She started felting the wool from my daddy’s sheep, and it resulted in a woolen felted boot, which was so comfortable that people started recommending.

We formed the company in 2003, and when we parted in 2007 the company was profitable and manufacturing on its own facility in Romania.

Betterfelt was manufacturing by hand on a workshop, that I established in Nepal. In order to sustain this workshop I was importing more shoes than I sold during the first years of Betterfelt. The sales was actually going up steadily, but unfortunately I was not blessed with the luck (or skills) to become profitable, and in 2020 Betterfelt went bankrupt.

I was lucky to become a founding partner of Wool2fit, which launched in November 2023. The plan was to build on the known concept of high quality woolen house shoes, and then improve by offering 3 withs of lasts. Unfortunately my investor chose to focus on something else, and cut his losses, just 2 months after the launch.

Developing the next generation of woolen footwear.

Since the beginning I have dreamed of making more than just house shoes. Early on I realized that it is possible to inject a sole directly on the woolen upper, and last year I invented a new felting technique.

So here I am, with a lot of experience and know how, and a lot of ideas and plans that are now carefully and repeatedly recalculated.
I believe we will change the way we walk on this planet.

So I am looking for people who will share my dream and contribute by joining my project.
